Project Manager

Location: Franklin, MA

Position Type:  Contract (6-8 months)

 

BPI is an award-winning designer, developer and integrator of multi-media exhibits and other interactive experiences. We specialize in media design and production for museums, visitor centers, sports venues and retail environments. We develop interactive applications, as well as produce films, audio, and immersive theaters. We love to build interactions with physical components, multiple screens, and unusual interfaces. We work closely with design firms and exhibit fabricators, as well as directly with our end clients to execute unique, creative projects.

We are seeking a seasoned Multimedia Project Manager to deliver our nationwide projects according to our clients’ vision. We are looking for someone with experience managing custom software development and complex digital and interactive programs from concept to final installation. Multimedia Project Managers are responsible for managing the project schedule, budget, team, clients, and outside vendors.

 

A Multimedia Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Effectively managing and coordinating all information and work related to projects, including project schedules, task assignment, issue tracking, and agenda development
  • Running project team meetings and associated work sessions
  • Ability to communicate and coordinate with integration and equipment vendors, and fabricators to satisfy media requirements
  • Effectively tracking and managing budgets
  • Proactively managing changes in project scope, identifying potential risk issues and devising and implementing contingency plans
  • Providing project details and resources to project team to keep work on schedule.
  • Facilitating collaboration of the project team

 

The skills and experience we are looking for include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in interactive software development and multi-media production
  • Experience in video production
  • Video asset management and research
  • Experienced in managing multiple projects and budgets at a time
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills: ability to find solutions and remove barriers to progress
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills; ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to shifting priorities, demands and timelines
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Knowledge of media and AV integration a plus
  • Looking for self-starting, motivated, and resourceful individuals
  • PMP Certification strongly preferred
