Meuse Argonne – Flanders Field – American Battle Monuments Commission

In collaboration with the American Battle Monument Commission, BPI developed interactives and films to interpret the Meuse-Argonne Battlefield Cemetery in France and the Flanders Field Cemetery in Belgium.

The multiscreen theatrical presentation at Meuse-Argonne Battlefield Cemetery is a complex blend of newly produced original high-end battlefield footage and intensely researched stock and archival footage. The 3-screen show is controlled by WatchOut and has a custom DMX controlled lighting program. BPI also built a full scale mock-up in our production studio to test and assess the functionality and design.

Shorter linear movies blend graphics, animations, archival and stock footage and newly produced video to tell moving stories of individual and collective heroism. 

BPI’s five computer interactives include edited oral histories, databases with look-up capabilities, contemporary graphic design, and elegant and consistent UI navigation.
