For Hershey’s Chocolate World Attraction in Hershey, PA, BPI developed a one-of-a-kind experience that allows visitors to create their own souvenir size candy bar. The “Create Your Own Candy Bar ” attraction lets visitors design the candy bar based on several different types of Hershey Chocolate along with several choices of add-in ingredients.  This information is then delivered to the industrial food processing equipment and launches the production of the candy bar. 

While the bar is being made, guests go to the design lab and create their own unique packaging. They can select from a variety of packaging templates and then customize the design by adding their name, changing colors, and inserting and sizing fun icons and text graphics.

BPI and On Track Themes were the original design team that developed the creative, programming, and managed the implementation.

“Create Your Own Candy Bar” is the most popular attraction at Chocolate World that sees in excess of a million guests a year.
