The Hershey Story – The Museum on Chocolate Avenue

Who doesn’t love a Hershey bar? Museum visitors discover the delicious legacy of Milton Hershey while exploring immersive interactive exhibits that tell the story of his groundbreaking innovations, the local community he built around his growing chocolate-making business, and his generous philanthropy that continues today.

The innovative Explore Hershey exhibit allows multiple users to access a detailed 3D virtual model of the town, and then explore 360° views of the rooms inside each building. Hotspots within the virtual environments provide visitors with access to a treasure trove of archival media, including footage, photographs, audio recordings, and architectural floor plans.

Other exhibits provide visitors with photo opportunities, where they can be featured on the front page of a Hershey newspaper. They can also build a Rube Goldberg-esque factory that produces Hershey Kisses.

In collaboration with Gallagher and Associates BPI thoroughly researched, scripted, and produced 36 historic exhibit videos, including five multi-screen theater presentations for the venue.
