Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum

As a partner with Balance Studios, BPI and the media team took the checkered flag in storytelling for the new Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum.  A walk through the themed garages of Gasoline Alley provides visitors a historic preview with era appropriate videos in each of the seven garages covering 100 years of racing at Indianapolis.

Passing through Gasoline Alley, you’re now on the track in an immersive theater experience.  Visitors rev up their adrenaline through a high-octane film presented on an 80’x20’ screen wrapping above you and the cars on the grid places you in the Starting Line Experience!

The energy remains high continuing throughout the galleries with more than 60 films, over 20 interactives for both learning and play, a projection mapped dimensional racetrack showcasing the facility through the years and an immersive corridor placing you In The Race.

BPI’s work included creative direction for the media, film production, producing immersive shows and other videos, as well as content development and image research for the interactives.

While both the Indianapolis 500 race and the Motor Speedway have been iconic in the racing world and beyond for more than 100 years, now they have a world class facility for visitors to share that history.

Plan your trip to Indianapolis and “Start Your Engines” at the new Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum!
