Sullenberger Aviation Museum

“Brace, brace, heads down, stay down…”—the chilling call of flight attendants on USAir 1549. Imagine facing that as you descend rapidly toward the Hudson River.

BPI brought the “Miracle on the Hudson” story to life for the Sullenberger Aviation Museum, weaving immersive storytelling with authentic survivor voices. In partnership with exhibit designer FRD and fabricator Studio Displays, the centerpiece production reveals the exact flight path through original aerial footage and first-hand accounts, drawing visitors into that fateful January day in 2009.

The museum, just beside Charlotte International Airport, now hosts a suite of interactive and video experiences produced by BPI. With over 20 interactive stations, 200+ video segments, and a custom CMS for future updates, BPI’s creative team created an evolving journey through aviation history—from its origins to its future.

AR tablets enrich visitor engagement, offering detailed explorations of aircraft specs and stories. Dynamic video timelines, custom games, and interactive elements place visitors in the roles of aerospace professionals, delivering STEM content through compelling, gamified experiences.
